The role requires a clean driving history, a Code 14/EC with PrDP, and at least 5 years of professional driving experience within long-haul or regional transport, with a strong emphasis on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14/EC driver’s license with a PrDP.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a professional truck driver (long-haul or regional).
• Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, noting defects.
• Plan and execute delivery routes to meet deadlines.
• Load and unload cargo and secure items properly.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid Code 14/EC driver's license with a PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).

• Demonstrated knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Strong understanding of South African road networks and navigation.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as loading/unloading and vehicle inspections.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
