Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Buyer to manage procurement of office supplies, stationery, furniture, and related services for its Benoni operations in Gauteng. The role focuses on cost-effective purchasing, supplier selection, and maintaining inventory levels to support a busy corporate environment.

You will identify suppliers, negotiate terms, process requisitions and purchase orders, and collaborate with internal teams while ensuring policy compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Experience with indirect materials or office supplies preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with procurement software/ERP is advantageous.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.

Aufgaben

• Source and procure office supplies, stationery, furniture and related services.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to meet organizational needs.
• Manage vendor relationships and SLAs; address issues.
• Conduct market research for cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain records of procurement activities and vendor information.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand supply needs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
