Placements24 is seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to join our Benoni operations. The role focuses on supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and policy compliance, with a hybrid work model offering office and remote flexibility.

You will identify suppliers, issue POs, analyze market trends, and maintain clear procurement records while collaborating with internal teams to meet diverse needs in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or Buyer.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing best practices and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
