Placements24 is seeking a structured Procurement Clerk for a prominent FMCG client in Port Elizabeth. You will support daily procurement operations, handle requisitions, create purchase orders, and maintain essential records to ensure smooth production and distribution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; admin or supply chain qualification is a plus.
• 1-2 years in an administrative or purchasing support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data entry and basic reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement software is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders using the company's procurement system.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track deliveries, and resolve basic queries.
• Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including invoices and delivery notes.
• Update supplier information and product details in the procurement database.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels and flagging potential stock shortages.
• Support the Procurement Officer in data collection for cost analysis and performance reporting.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure seamless receipt of goods.
• Filing and retrieving procurement-related documents as required.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the procurement management team.
