Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical plant operations with a focus on process safety and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of PSM principles, OSHA standards, and relevant safety regulations.
• Experience with hazard analysis techniques (HAZOP, LOPA).
• Excellent communication and training abilities to promote safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management programs.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and HAZOP studies for operations and projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety/environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical safety input on process design, equipment modification, and procedures.
• Develop and deliver safety training for plant personnel.
