Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing unit, applying technical expertise to optimize production, reduce cost and improve sustainability. You will design and implement processes for new and existing products, align with engineering standards and ensure safe, efficient operation throughout the plant lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Industrial/Chemical/Mechanical) and knowledge of food tech.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement.
• Experience collaborating across R&D, Projects and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and root-cause analysis to identify process improvements.
• Design and implement improvements to optimize production, reduce losses and improve quality.
• Lead risk assessments (HAZOP) and develop technical procedures.
• Support NPD trials and design activities for new systems and processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, tech and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
