Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Business Process Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives in a banking/financial services context. You will identify bottlenecks, develop business cases, and monitor realised benefits across the PPB landscape.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, proficiency with BPR methodologies, and hands-on experience with modelling tools such as iServer. A Lean Six Sigma certification is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: National Diploma in Engineering or equivalent NQF 6
• At least 5 years in Business Process Engineering
• Knowledge of BPR methodologies and tools (Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking)
• Familiarity with Business Process Modelling tools
• 3–5 years in banking/technology/financial services environment
• Lean Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

• Investigate, identify and implement business improvements based on market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs
• Develop business cases and monitor post-implementation benefits (financial and non-financial)
• Create and maintain a centralised repository of processes, artefacts, and templates
• Understand end-to-end processes to identify bottlenecks and risks
• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and drive improvements
• Lead and delivery-focused execution of process improvement initiatives (quality, scope, time)
• Evaluate current processes and redesign for better efficiency
• Prepare business cases to secure new improvements and monitor benefits
• Drive continuous process improvement across PPB operational landscape
