Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a passion for process optimisation, business transformation and continuous improvement?
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled process professional to work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and senior leadership to analyse existing processes, design future-state operating models and deliver measurable business improvements.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse As-Is processes and design efficient To-Be processes and operating models.
- Lead process improvement initiatives from discovery and analysis through to implementation.
- Identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities using process analytics and process mining.
- Map end-to-end value chains and connect business strategy to process architecture.
- Develop business cases, quantify benefits and demonstrate ROI for improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to prioritise process requirements and deliverables.
- Facilitate workshops and consult with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Apply process modelling techniques and maintain high-quality process documentation and artefacts.
- Support workflow optimisation, automation and the effective use of BPM, process mining and RPA technologies.
- Collaborate with data and technology teams around data flows, transformation requirements and process mining inputs.
- Support change management activities, including communication plans and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor benefit realisation and ensure improvements deliver the intended business outcomes.
- Ensure appropriate risk, controls, compliance and audit requirements are incorporated into process designs.
- Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
What we're looking for
- 7-10 years' experience in process engineering, business process management, process improvement or a closely related field.
- A Bachelor's degree / NQF Level 7 qualification in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with BPM, process design and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience leading small-to-medium process improvement or performance optimisation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of BPMN and/or UML modelling.
- Understanding of process measurement, value chains and operating models.
- Experience with process mining, BPMS and/or RPA tools.
- Solid understanding of change management and how it integrates with broader transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and consulting skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and business writing abilities.
- Working knowledge of Agile, SDLC and project management principles.
- A strong understanding of risk, regulatory and compliance considerations within business processes.
Advantageous
Certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CBPP or Business Analysis will be beneficial.
