• Plan and deliver process improvement initiatives within agreed scope, quality and timelines.
• Work with business stakeholders to prioritise process requirements and strategic improvement opportunities.
• Define process scopes, estimates, value chains and end-to-end operating models.
• Build business cases that demonstrate business value and calculate return on investment.
• Identify process bottlenecks using analytics, process mining and relevant BPM tools.
• Link business strategy to process architecture, performance measures and operational outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology teams, data architects and other business functions.
• Support process automation initiatives using BPMS, process mining and RPA tools.
• Evaluate benefit realisation following process implementation.
• Embed appropriate risk, controls, compliance and audit requirements into business processes.
• Support change management, communication planning and mitigation strategies for process improvement initiatives.

Job description

Our client is seeking a SAP Process Engineer to analyse, design and improve business processes across complex operating environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product designers, technology teams and other specialists to translate current-state operations into effective future-state processes and drive measurable performance improvement.

Requirements:

• Relevant NQF 7 qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 7-10 years' relevant experience.
• SAP HANA or SAP Signavio experience is required.
• Strong practical experience in Business Process Management, change management and process improvement.
• Demonstrated experience leading small to medium process and performance improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of process modelling, including BPMN and UML.
• Strong understanding of process design, process measurement and process architecture.
• Experience with BPM tools, process mining, workflow optimisation and automation concepts.
• Knowledge of project management principles, Agile concepts and the System Development Life Cycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business writing skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, influencing and presentation skills.
• LEAN, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CBPP or Business Analysis certification would be advantageous.
