Responsibilities

• Analyse current-state processes across the Specialty line of business.
• Design future-state processes aligned with replatformed system capabilities.
• Translate process designs into clear business and functional requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
• Support testing activities to align outcomes with defined processes.
• Provide handover of approved requirements and process artefacts to the Project Manager and delivery teams.
• Engage with Specialty business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure shared understanding of process intent and requirements.
• Support solution design discussions to ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
• Respond to requirement clarifications and change impacts during delivery.
• Support testing activities by validating that system outcomes align to defined processes.
• Assist with operational readiness by providing input into training, change, and transition activities.
• Support refinement of processes based on implementation feedback and lessons learned.
• Documented current-state and future-state process designs

Job description

Purpose

The Process Engineer will be responsible for analysing, designing, and optimising end-to-end business processes for the Specialty line of business as part of a core systems replatforming initiative. The role ensures that business requirements are clearly defined, future-state processes are fit for purpose, and that process design effectively informs system configuration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Analysis & Design

• Analyse current-state (as-is) processes across the Specialty line of business.
• Design future-state (to-be) processes aligned to replatformed system capabilities and business objectives.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities enabled by the new platform.

2. Requirements Definition & Handover

• Translate process designs into clear, structured business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with business SMEs to validate process flows and requirements.
• Provide clear handover of approved requirements and process artefacts to the Project Manager and delivery teams to support build, testing, and deployment.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with Specialty business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure shared understanding of process intent and requirements.
• Support solution design discussions to ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
• Respond to requirement clarifications and change impacts during delivery.

4. Delivery & Change Support

• Support testing activities by validating that system outcomes align to defined processes and requirements.
• Assist with operational readiness by providing input into training, change, and transition activities.
