This is a senior position that requires deep expertise in identifying and placing highly skilled IT professionals. You will be responsible for managing key client accounts, driving business development within the tech vertical, and potentially leading a small team of specialist recruiters. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of emerging technologies, the IT talent landscape, and the nuances of recruiting for technical roles. Key Responsibilities

• Source, attract, and place high‑calibre technology professionals, including software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and IT managers.

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the technology recruitment sector.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on technology recruitment.
• Proven success in placing candidates in highly technical roles (e.g., software development, cloud, data analytics, cybersecurity).
• In‑depth knowledge of the technology job market in South Africa, ideally with exposure to the Durban region.
• Strong business acumen and experience in client relationship management and business development.
• Excellent interviewing, assessment, and candidate engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of IT terminology and technical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload effectively.
