Job summary

The Talent Room in Gauteng seeks a motivated Used Car Sales Executive to drive sales of pre-owned vehicles. You will engage prospects, demonstrate vehicles, and tailor options to customer needs, ensuring a smooth sales journey from enquiry to delivery.

Key requirements include a Grade 12, proven used-vehicle selling experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent English communication. A strong track record in achieving targets and familiarity with CRM/DMS systems will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• Previous vehicle sales experience at a motor dealership.

• Experience in pre-owned vehicle sales is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable transport preferred.
• Good computer literacy.
• CRM/DMS experience advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.

• Professional presentation and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-owned vehicles to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Prospect for new customers through referrals, telephone calls, online leads and networking.
• Respond promptly to incoming vehicle enquiries and follow up on leads.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
• Conduct thorough customer needs analysis to determine suitable vehicle options.
• Present and demonstrate vehicles to prospective customers.
• Conduct professional test drives and explain vehicle specifications, features and benefits.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate vehicle pricing within approved parameters.
• Manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.
• Identify trade-in opportunities and assist with the trade-in process.
• Work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager, F&I team and other dealership departments to ensure smooth transactions.
