Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking a Pre-Owned Sales Manager in Gauteng to lead and grow the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department, driving monthly and annual targets and managing a 100–120 unit per month operation.

You will lead, coach and develop the pre-owned sales team, oversee appraisals, trade-ins, pricing, stock levels and profitability, and develop marketing strategies to maximise pre-owned vehicle sales. A matric and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Previous experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager within a motor dealership.
• Proven track record in Pre-Owned vehicle sales.
• Experience managing a high-volume dealership operation.
• Proven ability to manage approximately 100-120 units per month.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisals, trade-ins, stock management and vehicle pricing.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team.
• Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship skills.

• Manage stock turn and minimise aged stock.
• Monitor gross profit and overall departmental profitability.
• Develop effective sales and marketing strategies to maximise pre-owned vehicle sales.
