Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Restaurant/General Manager to support the GM in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth functioning by supervising and managing junior staff across South Africa.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a senior role at a premium restaurant, a Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, fluent in English and Afrikaans, and proven experience with restaurant

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a senior role at a premium restaurant.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and supervise junior staff.
• Recruit, train, and supervise employees and conduct regular staff meetings.
• Implement staff training programs to maximize performance and career growth.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze sales data to meet revenue goals.
• Manage all financial procedures including stock levels, food costs, audits, taxation, and cash flow.
