Job summary

Premium Hospitality Group in Johannesburg is seeking energetic Floor Managers to join Bryanston and Parkhurst teams. The role focuses on high-volume, premium service and staff leadership.

You will coach the floor team, ensure guest satisfaction, uphold grooming and safety standards, and manage opening/closing procedures and cash-ups. Experience in steakhouse or Mediterranean dining preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or floor-management role within a high-turnover, premium restaurant.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• Passion for hospitality with a deep understanding of premium service etiquette, specifically within steakhouse or Mediterranean dining styles.
• Competence in point-of-sale systems (e.g., Gaap, Micros) and table management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor team during busy shifts to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise waitstaff, runners, and hostesses, ensuring all sections are managed efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback in real-time with professionalism and a 'guest-first' attitude.
• Enforce strict adherence to grooming, service protocols, and health and safety regulations.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, including cash-ups and shift handovers.
• Assist in the ongoing coaching and development of the floor team to maintain high service standards.
