Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and reliability of diverse production machinery in Klerksdorp, North West. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while driving uptime and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and strong leadership and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance engineering role in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot a wide range of industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians.
