Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Skilled Bricklayer with a portfolio.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Proficiency in bricklaying techniques, bonds and finishing.
• Knowledge of materials, tools and masonry safety.
• Fit for outdoor site work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project specs and material requirements.
• Lay bricks, blocks and other masonry units to construct or repair walls and foundations.
• Maintain consistent mortar joint thickness and level/plumb construction.
• Mix cement, sand and water to produce concrete and mortar mixes.
• Clean excess mortar from surfaces and tools, keeping area tidy.
• Collaborate with other trades on site to ensure project progression.
