Overview

Precast Production Manager – An established manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Precast Production Manager to oversee all aspects of factory production. The successful candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective processes that deliver high-quality products on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations, resources, and machinery.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, SANS 1879:2013, OH&S standards, and internal quality systems.
• Lead and develop factory staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, KPIs, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric with tertiary qualification in Production/Construction Management (advantageous).
• Certification in Concrete Technology, ISO standards, and OH&S knowledge highly beneficial.
• Minimum 10 years’ production management experience, ideally in concrete manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, people management, and quality assurance background.
• Proven ability to manage large teams (300+ staff).
• Computer literate with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to work shifts and overtime in a 24-hour operation.
• Clean criminal record and reference checks required.
