Cashbuild Limited is seeking a dedicated Cashier to accurately handle POS transactions and documentation. The role ensures no goods pass POS without payment and emphasizes customer satisfaction.

The position requires Grade 12 or 1 year of related experience, strong English and local language communication, basic arithmetic, and good administration skills. Shifts, weekends, and public holidays are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or minimum of 1 year work related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must have strong administration skills.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Balance cash including floats and petty cash with no shorts or overs.
• Identify and capture goods correctly on the POS Terminal.
• Capture the correct payment type from customers on the POS Terminal.
• Maintain sufficient change at all times.
• Ensure daily takings are dropped into the Drop Safe/vault.
• Process transactions related to other stores' money, deliveries, and quotes correctly.
• Sign, compile, and file all documentation related to the cashier function.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers at check-in/out.
