Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking a System Sup (External Applications Only) to oversee POS transactions and cash office processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate banking procedures.

You will supervise POS operators, manage back-office cashing, and maintain security and organization within the Cash Office. The role requires strong numeric skills, excellent service, and solid computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience (or 10 years).
• Proficient in English and the dominant local language.
• Above average numeric skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POS transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with needs through clear and effective communication.
• Address requests, queries and complaints or escalate to management.
• Offer fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers.
• Control and ensure availability of stationary and consumables in the store.
• Balance petty cash and cashiers’ tills; record petty cash expenses.
• Process back-office transactions and cashing up of tills.
• Ensure returns are valid and processed correctly.
• Monitor cash office security and proper documentation.
