Qualifications

• Requires Grade 12 or 5 years related experience or 10 years' work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Above average numeric skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional Customer service.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all speed point transactions (credit/debit) are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with needs through clear, effective communication.
• Address customer requests, queries and complaints or elevate to management.
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers.
• Maintain availability of stationery and consumables in the store.
• Manage cash handling tasks including petty cash, till floats and cash office processes.
• Balance and record petty cash expenses and vouchers.
• Process back office transactions and cashier settlements.
• Ensure End of Day procedures for POS terminals and back office.
• Ensure 2nd Cashbuild employee is present for CIT collections.
• Ensure daily takings are collected by the CIT company.
• Implement Ready for Business processes and maintain cashier areas.
