Job summary

Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch is seeking a dedicated Porter Driver on a permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering items and guest services, assisting with arrivals and departures, and providing valet parking while ensuring a welcoming first impression.

The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license (EB or higher), be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions, and commit to shift work including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest service or porter role is an advantage.
• Valid EB or higher driver's license.
• Minimum two years' experience in driving position.
• Able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Willingness to work shifts including night shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of items and guest services throughout the hotel.
• Assist with guest arrivals, in-house guests and departures, valet parking and safe retrieval of vehicles.
• Handle guest luggage and support Front Office operations.
• Efficient management of on-site and off-site parking areas.
• Create a welcoming, professional and memorable first impression for every guest.
