Job summary

Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch seeks a Porter Driver to ensure smooth delivery of items and guest services, including assisting arrivals, departures, and valet parking.

You will support Front Office operations, manage on-site and off-site parking, handle guest luggage, and help create a welcoming first impression for every guest.

A valid EB+ license, two years driving experience, and willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays are essential; English required.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of items and guest services throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will provide exceptional guest service by assisting with guest arrivals, in-house guests and departures, valet parking and the safe retrieval of vehicles, handling guest luggage, and supporting Front Office operations. The role also ensures efficient management of on-site and off-site parking areas while creating a welcoming, professional and memorable first impression for every guest.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar guest service or porter role is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license (EB or higher)
• Minimum two years’ experience in driving position
• Able to drive manual and automatic transmission
• Willingness to work shifts including night shift, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are beneficial.
