Placements24 is partnering with a Soweto-based insurer to hire an Insurance Customer Service Specialist. You will be the primary contact for policyholders, guiding inquiries, policy changes, billing questions, and claim support, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to explain insurance terms and policies clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Assist customers with policy-related questions, coverage details, and billing inquiries.
• Guide customers through the claims process and provide initial support for claim initiation.
• Process policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional insurance products where appropriate.
