Placements24 is seeking an Advocacy Officer to champion social justice causes in the Nelspruit community. The role focuses on raising awareness, influencing policy, and mobilising public support for the charity sector.

The candidate will develop advocacy strategies, engage with policymakers, and build coalitions with partner organizations to promote meaningful change. This is a mission-driven role in the South African charity landscape.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
• Proven advocacy, policy analysis, or lobbying experience.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to persuade and influence.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote the organization's mission.
• Conduct research and analysis on relevant policy issues and trends.
