Job summary

Yellow Card seeks a Platform Tech Lead to anchor the Platform Engineering team, owning the technical roadmap and ensuring 99.99% availability for institutional partners and global financial networks that rely on us. You will lead critical production implementations, drive architectural excellence, and align technical priorities with business goals in a fast-growing global B2B FinTech environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale production environments.
2+ years leading site reliability engineers or developers.
Deep AWS knowledge including serverless, API gateway, DynamoDB, EKS and S3.
Strong Kubernetes, microservices and CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions).
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and guide teams.

Responsibilities

Act as final technical reviewer for complex global traffic routing and networking.
Architect robust solutions to achieve 99.99% system uptime.
Identify root causes of critical incidents and implement permanent fixes.
Lead capacity planning, demand forecasting and system tuning.
Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting for all critical systems.
Align technical priorities with business goals for senior leadership.
Partner with SecOps to maintain strong security across global infra.
