Job summary

Compass Medical Waste Services Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical waste treatment plant in Durban. You will lead a team of production staff, ensuring efficient processes and strict adherence to quality standards.

Key responsibilities include coordinating plant operations, enforcing health and safety regulations, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate records of waste processing activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the plant, managing a team of production staff, and maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.

Job Duties

• Manage and coordinate the operations of the medical waste treatment plant

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a waste treatment plant
• Knowledge of medical waste regulations and best practises
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Must have a matric and a relevant qualification is an added advantage

Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a waste treatment plant

Knowledge And Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Waste Management
