Placements24 is seeking a versatile Plant Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will perform routine inspections, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on a range of plant machinery, pumps, motors and conveyors, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

The role involves preventative maintenance, basic electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and assisting with new equipment installations in a busy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Plant Maintenance Technician or similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and ability to read maintenance manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment life.

Requirements
