Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician to support Richards Bay operations. You will perform preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems, and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to keep plant equipment running safely.

We value hands-on technicians with strong reading of engineering drawings, welding/fabrication skills, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting of control circuits is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and service manuals.
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques is advantageous.
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to work effectively in a team.
