Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with plant layout focus.
- Experience with CAD and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize plant layouts, workstations, and material flow paths to maximize efficiency and minimize handling time.
- Develop 3D models and simulations of proposed layouts to evaluate potential improvements and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure new layouts meet operational, safety, and ergonomic needs.
- Analyze current material handling systems and recommend improvements or new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all layout designs.
- Support the implementation of new equipment and process changes by providing layout and flow expertise.
