Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Manufacturing Finance & Business Partnering leader to drive financial performance across plant operations, costing, and inventory management.

You will partner with Plant Management and Operations, providing financial leadership to production and supply chain, analyzing KPIs, and guiding budgeting, forecasting, and capex decisions. This role sits in a dynamic food manufacturing environment in Wes-Kaap, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong costing, inventory, and stock management experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP systems experience, preferably Syspro
• Strong reporting, analytical, and business partnering capabilities
• Experience supporting manufacturing and production teams

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Finance & Partnering: Partner with Plant Management and Operations to drive financial performance and provide commercial support to production and supply chain teams.
• Costing & Inventory Management: Manage product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis; monitor stock levels and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management accounts and operational reporting; analyze plant performance and overheads.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Capex: Lead annual budgeting/forecasting; develop financial models and monitor capex projects.
• Continuous Improvement & Controls: Identify process improvements, enhance reporting, and ensure adherence to financial controls.
