Job summary

Mars Food in Cape Town, South Africa, seeks a Factory Finance Business Partner to partner with Site/Manufacturing Management, delivering financial leadership for cost efficiency and operational excellence.

You will define financial objectives, provide insights on results, and drive performance through cost control, planning, and continuous improvement with the Global VCO Finance Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or supply chain finance.
• Strong cost and management accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key Finance Business Partner to the Plant Manager, providing financial advice for sound operational decisions.
• Partner with the manufacturing team to drive performance and champion continuous improvement.
• Analyze trends to identify issues and opportunities and recommend actions.
• Provide insights for operating plan, revised forecasts, and strategic planning cycles.
• Track action plans for key initiatives and address root causes to drive improvements.
• Share and drive best practices as part of the Global VCO Finance Team.
