Job summary

Henkel Adhesive Technologies South Africa in Johannesburg-Alrode is seeking aMaintenance Engineer to plan and implement maintenance and optimization measures across production lines.

You will supervise technicians, drive energy efficiency improvements, and provide technical consulting to the production team. The role requires a B.Eng or BSc in Electrical and at least 2 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or BSc in Electrical required.
• Industrial plant maintenance specialty.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation advantageous.
• Experience in supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements maintenance and optimization measures.
• Performs technical supervision of line technicians.
• Is responsible for continuous improvement of energy consumption in the production.
• Does technical consulting of the production.
• Develops employees with regular trainings and briefing.
• Monitors KPIs for engineering & maintenance processes.
