Job summary

Henkel in Brakpan seeks a maintenance engineer to plan and implement maintenance and optimization measures across the production line. You will supervise technicians, drive energy efficiency, and provide technical consulting to the production teams.

The role requires a B.Eng or BSc in Electrical, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and familiarity with Siemens PLCs and instrumentation. Join a team focused on reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Area of specialization: Industrial plant maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of instrumentation is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial equipment/processes.

What You´ll Do

• Plans and implements maintenance and optimization measures
• Performs technical supervision of line technicians Is responsible for continuous improvement of energy consumption in the production
• Does technical consulting of the production
• Develops employees with regular trainings and briefing
• Monitors KPIs for engineering & maintenance processes
• Must be conversant and familiar with PLC integration and control(siemens) as well as fault finding
• Conduct regular tests on electrical systems, equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating properly.
