Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires Merchandisers for their Liberty Promenade store in the Western Cape Region. You will ensure that basic Dis-Chem merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Your responsibilities will also lie in providing excellent customer service.

Role involves restocking, stock integrity, FIFO rotation, reporting stock issues, and maintaining visual standards. You will engage with customers and support training to ensure continued store performance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Up to 6 months' retail experience preferred.
• Computer literate with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to ensure maximum sales.
• Store and pack delivered stock in the correct space timeously.
• Ensure stock on shelves is not past sell-by date and is fully stocked.
• Rotate stock on a FIFO basis and report low stock to management.
• Assist with stock counts and ensure compliance with SOPs and planograms.
• Present shelves neatly with correct labels and pricing; report discrepancies.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and train new staff as needed.
• Follow health and safety rules and maintain store upkeep.
