Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Mahikeng store is seeking a Casual Merchandiser to uphold merchandising standards and deliver friendly customer service. The role focuses on stock replenishment, shelf presentation and assisting customers in a busy retail environment.

You will restock, manage shelves, rotate stock FIFO, check expiry dates, and support stock control while adhering to SOPs and health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience is essential.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Ensure stock stored and packed correctly from storeroom.
• Keep shelves with full range of products and properly labelled.
• Rotate stock FIFO and report low/out_of_stock items.
• Assist with stock counting and label accuracy.
• Maintain displays, correct pricing and store layout.
• Support staff training and provide friendly customer service.
