Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Health Merchandiser for our Kenilworth store. You will ensure merchandising standards are followed and maintained and provide customers with outstanding service.

Essential duties include restocking, stocking shelves with correct labels and pricing, and maintaining displays while ensuring stock is rotated using FIFO principles. The role also involves stocktaking, back shopping, and resolving customer stock queries.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category is advantageous.
• At least 1 year retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room, is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained.
• Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
