Job summary

Clicks Group’s UniCare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Parklands, Cape Town, seeks a Pharmacist for night and day rotations after community service. You will provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate dispensing, and professional counselling to patients.

The role reports to the Dispensary Manager and focuses on stock management, staff training, and collaboration with clinics to broaden healthcare offerings while maintaining SAPC compliance.

Qualifications

• B Pharm Degree required.
• 2 Years experience after Community Service.
• SAPC knowledge and compliance with legal requirements.
• Client-focused patient care and professional counselling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care and safe dispensing, including generic substitution and SAPC-aligned practice.
• Efficiently run dispensary operations: stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping and admin per SAPC and company standards.
• Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns in line with SAPC requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and healthcare departments to extend patient services.
• Support the Group’s vision by upholding company values and delivering excellent customer care.
