Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in South Africa seeks a Pharmacist to lead the dispensary, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and high standards of pharmaceutical care. You will drive customer service initiatives and collaborate with clinic staff to provide a full healthcare offering.

The role requires registered Pharmacist with SAPC, strong stock management and leadership abilities to train and supervise Pharmacist Assistants and Interns, while adhering to SAPC regulations.

Qualifications

• Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
• Knowledge of SAPC regulations and legal requirements.
• Knowledge of stock, cost, risk and compliance management procedures.
• Knowledge of patient care, professional counselling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the dispensary and deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care to meet sales and compliance targets.
• Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care and safe dispensing including generic substitution.
• Manage stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and administration in line with SAPC regulations and company standards.
• Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns.
• Execute customer service initiatives to ensure a great customer experience and drive loyalty.
• Build relationships with centre managers, suppliers and distribution centres to achieve business objectives.
