Placements24 is seeking a diligent Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist to join their Richards Bay manufacturing facility. You will perform laboratory QC tests to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before release.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and at least two years in pharmaceutical QC, with hands-on experience in HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.

• 2+ years in a pharmaceutical QC role.
• Familiar with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine QC testing on materials and finished pharmaceutical products using established methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and validation.
• Accurately document test results, deviations, and investigations in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
• Participate in the review and approval of batch records and quality control documentation.
• Identify and report any out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
