About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their vital quality assurance team based in Welkom, Free State. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing a range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of the medications produced by our facility in Welkom. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical chemistry and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality within the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of pharmaceutical products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer titration).
• Analyze raw materials and packaging components to ensure they meet predefined specifications.
• Document all testing procedures, results, and deviations accurately in accordance with GMP guidelines.
• Perform method validation and verification activities as required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections related to quality control.

Requirements
