Job summary

Pharma Dynamics (Pty) Ltd is seeking a high-energy Sales Representative to drive growth across a defined territory in South Africa. You will implement marketing plans, build strong relationships with pharmacists, and execute national sales strategies.

Responsibilities include achieving targets, conducting product trainings, and providing market feedback to optimise opportunities. A proactive, results-driven approach will be essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed set sales targets and growth objectives for the product basket within the territory.
• Implement and execute set marketing strategies effectively.
• Utilize POS assets to support marketing strategies prudently.
• Execute KA channel and national sales strategies effectively.
• Plan, organize, and execute sales activities with targeted customers.
• Use sales data tools to analyze territory, customers, and products.
• Maintain Repwise database and achieve call rates, frequency, and coverage.
• Document customer interactions and follow-up notes accurately.
• Conduct product trainings for pharmacists and staff per requirements.
• Submit monthly planners and reports to the line manager.
• Review business with key customers to discuss sales performance and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmacists and stakeholders.
• Drive pharmacy dispensary business and ensure product re-orders.
• Arrange appointments with pharmacists and health professionals to grow product lines.
• Work with Regional Sales Manager on opportunities and ensure execution.
• Monitor competitor activity and product offerings.
• Provide in-field feedback to internal teams and adapt strategy.
• Stay informed on industry developments and trials to adjust strategy.
• Organize trainings/workshops for the territory and profile attendees.
• Ensure compliance with Marketing Code Authority and company policies.
• Attend external supplier functions and company meetings.
