Job summary

Xrecruiter in Cape Town is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to drive sales targets and promote our brands. You will build product knowledge and execute marketing strategies in the Western and Southern Cape Territory, engaging with doctors, nurses and hospital staff.

The role requires field calls, attendance at CME events and congresses, and managing stock and relationships with key accounts. A valid drivers license and willingness to work outside standard hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• Ability to work after hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and budgets.
• Promote company and product trademarks and brands.
• Maintain product knowledge (test pass rate >80%).
• Make 8-10 customer calls per day across specialists, nurses and hospital units.
• Attend Congresses, CME meetings and related marketing activities.
• Maintain sound relationships with customers and key accounts.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance and expense reports.
• Manage stock levels for customers.
• Support Named Patient Business at hospital level if required.
