Placements24 is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to promote a specialized portfolio to healthcare professionals in Paarl, Western Cape. You will build relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff, delivering product information and clinical data.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and a proven track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably with a focus on specialized therapeutics.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with healthcare professionals.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales targets for specialized pharmaceutical products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and hospital staff within the assigned territory.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits, efficacy, and appropriate use of company products.
• Provide comprehensive product information, clinical data, and marketing materials.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and company-sponsored events.
• Manage expenses and travel effectively to maximize territory coverage.
• Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing and medical affairs teams to support product promotion and brand strategy.
