Placements24 in East London is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join its pharmaceutical production facility. You will perform analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory specifications and GMP.

This role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and careful data recording as you operate HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testers, calibrating equipment, and contributing to method validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related life science.
• Minimum 2 years in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably pharma.
• Proficiency with HPLC, GC, dissolution testers, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.
• Solid understanding of GMP and QC principles.
• Strong data recording and reporting accuracy.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in East London.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and titration.
• Document test results accurately and meticulously in accordance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions for analytical testing.
• Investigate OOS results and participate in root cause analysis.
• Assist in validation of new analytical methods and equipment.
