Placements24 is seeking a diligent Quality Control Analyst to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in George. You will conduct a wide range of laboratory tests to ensure quality and safety of products, leveraging HPLC and dissolution testing while upholding stringent regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years' QC experience, with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a QC Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and dissolution testing essential.
• Knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using various analytical methods.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
• Accurately record and document all test results, observations, and deviations in accordance with cGMP and company SOPs.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and report any out-of-specification findings to the Quality Unit promptly.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and solutions required for testing.
• Participate in method validation, transfer, and qualification activities as needed.
