Job summary

Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Richards Bay. You will perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy and 1–3 years of QC experience, with proficiency in HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and wet chemistry, plus strong data integrity and teamwork skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related science.
• 1–3 years in QC or analytical lab, preferably pharmaceutical.
• Proficiency with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and wet chemistry.
• Strong GMP and GLP knowledge and data recording accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with proper calibration.
• Document testing results and observations in compliance with GMP/GLP.
• Investigate deviations and contribute to root-cause analyses and CoA preparation.
