Responsibilities include operating HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus, documenting results, and supporting method validation and regulatory compliance. Durban-based, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related science.
• Minimum 3 years as QC Analyst in pharma.
• Proficient with HPLC, GC and wet chemistry methods.
• Familiar with cGMP and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing.

• Conduct analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, dissolution).

• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for testing.

About the Role

This role is integral to ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. You will perform a range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using sophisticated laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
