Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable Pharmaceutical Production Technician to join our client's Welkom manufacturing facility. You will operate and monitor production equipment, ensure adherence to batch records, and maintain equipment to required standards to support efficient, compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In this hands-on role, you will work with the production team to meet targets, perform routine cleaning and calibration, and document activities accurately while following cGMP,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate in a relevant field is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a production operator or technician in a pharmaceutical or related regulated industry.
• Familiarity with GMP and sterile processing environments is a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions, batch records, and SOPs.
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production machinery, including mixers, fillers, tablet presses, and packaging equipment.
• Follow batch manufacturing records and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent contamination.
• Adhere to cGMP guidelines, safety protocols, and environmental regulations during all production activities.
• Accurately document all production activities, including material usage, equipment logs, and batch records.
• Identify and report any production deviations, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
