Job summary

PSMP in the pharmaceutical sector seeks an experienced Inventory & Systems Manager to lead distribution centre inventory, implement robust processes for stock accuracy, warehouse optimisation and precise order processing.

You will oversee inventory reporting, system updates, issue resolution and audit preparation, while guiding Inventory Control staff and coordinating system enhancements with stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BSc Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years' leadership in a large supply chain (40+ employees).
• Experience overseeing multiple supervisors and managing quality and safety standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems.
• Pharma/food industry experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory operations including cycle counts, receiving and put-away.
• Maintain stock accuracy by investigating discrepancies and ensuring proper receiving docs.
• Oversee shelf-life, recalls, traceability and non-conforming stock handling.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes to improve efficiency and order processing.
• Ensure GMP/GWP, ISO, GDP and safety compliance across operations.
• Manage inventory systems, data integrity, testing, reporting and improvement opportunities.
• Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation and stock levels to minimise loss.
• Provide KPIs, governance and inventory reports to management.
• Lead projects, system implementations and training with stakeholders.
• Mentor Inventory Control staff through performance management and development.
